MEMA is starting to think about the holiday season early this year and what better way to start than to introduce our 2020 Holiday Charitable event, Wreaths Across America.  This event is meant to honor the men and women who served our country and have given all of us opportunities to run businesses. One that we hope will give MEMA members an opportunity to lead by example and educate our communities.

For decades the Energy Dealers of Maine and MEMA’s members have served their communities keeping them safe and warm in their homes. Many of the men and women who do this are also Veterans who put their lives on the line for our country and they continue to serve their country now by giving back to their communities as delivery drivers, service technicians and more.

As the years move on and each new generation take to their roles as the keepers of the Nation, it’s important that we all do our part to never forget and pass the memories on to our future generation.  Freedom comes at a great cost and there is no time when that is more apparent than on December 19th when holiday wreaths line the cemetery in gratitude to the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

It is for this reason that MEMA invites you to join us in participating in the Wreaths Across America campaign. MEMA has contributed $5,000 to make sure the gravestones of Maine heroes are covered with wreaths. MEMA has a goal of 500 wreaths bought by our membership and our members’ customers. Please help us spread the word, together we can make a difference. We encourage you to join MEMA in honoring our heroes by posting the provided link on your social media pages and making contributions from your company.

Anyone who wants to join Charlie Summers to lay wreaths in Augusta are welcome to join. This opportunity will proudly show MEMA and MEMA members support and honor the men and women who put their lives on the line for our country.
