MEMA is committed to the health of our staff, students and membership.  The safety of our community as we combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is essential. We understand that COVID-19 is already here in Maine and it is imperative to us that we do our part to help contain the situation as much as humanly possible, therefore we are taking the following precautions:
—–
  • We will continue to monitor the situation and keep a close eye on updates as they are released from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and other experts.
  • Many of our members already work with us virtually. We will continue to make phone meetings and digital communications an option for our membership during the quarantined periods
  • MEMA is taking the proper precautions in opening up sanitization stations to our students and are educating our staff to take the proper measures to stay sanitized and healthy.
This is a stressful time and we all are going to feel the effects of CODID-19. Many of you have asked us about classes and events. Here’s what you can expect from MEMA and MTEC:
—–
  • Effective tomorrow until March 30th, all classes will be cancelled. We encourage all students to push their registrations until the next scheduled class with openings, however refunds will be provided as necessary.
  • The Propane Summit on April 22, 2020 will be postponed until September 2020. More info to come.
Moving ahead, MEMA will continue to put out regular updates and educational materials regarding COVID-19. If you have any questions or would like to address the situation with us, please feel free to call the office any time at 207-729-5298.
Until then, stay safe out there!
